Commissioning Process

I keep the commissioning process clear, collaborative, and tailored to each ensemble. Most projects follow a simple path:

Initial Conversation — We talk about your ensemble, the occasion, the performers, and the musical goals.
Scope & Timeline — We outline length, instrumentation, difficulty, and delivery schedule.
Drafts & Feedback — I share sketches or drafts if you want them; I adapt to your preferred workflow.
Final Score & Parts — You receive clear, clean notation ready for rehearsal.
Rehearsal Support — I’m available for questions or adjustments throughout the process.
Performance & Beyond — I love attending performances when possible and welcome future collaborations.
