Touching Bass may be played with the bass in either solo tuning (F# B E A) or orchestral tuning (E A D G). The bass part is the same in either case. A different piano part is provided for each bass tuning. The first in the score is to be played with a bass using solo tuning; the second is played with a bass using orchestral tuning.
